I tried Pilates for the first time because one of my friends talked to me about their experience at Chicago River North Pilates. I am an active person but I had(past tense) zero flexibility and it was not only affecting my golf game but was beginning to wreak havoc on my posture and range of motion. I started taking classes from Vanessa and I definitely can see a difference in my posture and range of motion as a result of taking Pilates. Pilates is a great form of exercise that both makes me feel better and physically helps me maintain better posture. I also have tried other studios closer to my home but I found that I prefer the people and studio space at Chicago River North Pilates. I particularly enjoy the bright, wide open loft space; I found it more difficult to enjoy my sessions at other studios because the spaces weren't as open, bright and inviting. I am a true lifetime convert to Pilates, I never thought I would be and I attribute a lot of my good experiences and results to the teaching I receive at Chicago River North Pilates.
