  I've been going to Paul Mitchell for seven (7) years. I have had more positive experiences than negative. What I do know is that the learning leader is key, unless the future professional is an above avg student. My usual services are color, highlights and cut, but I recently decided to go somewhere else for cuts because I wear my hair very short along the sides and back, & it's curly. I am not always confident in the student's abilities to cut short hair styles. However, my color is 8 out 10 great, and when there were problems, they were easily fixable. For first-timers and newbies (unless you're in Phase 2), if the learning leader is not checking on the student periodically, inquire on there whereabouts, and ask them to be more present.
